Hello, my name is Sandra White, and I currently hold the position of Vice President of Human Resources at one of the fastest-growing companies in America! In this role, I provide leadership and guidance at the executive level for the company stakeholders. In parallel with my professional career, I find the time to volunteer in my community by serving as Chair on the Antioch Crime Prevention Commission, AUSD CTE Committee, and formerly Contra Costa County Advisory Board (CAB). I am also an active member of the Antioch Rotary Club.
As a resident of Antioch for the past decade, I see the trials our community is experiencing. We have grown to become one of the most populated cities in Contra Costa County. This tremendous growth brought many challenges with code enforcement violations, an increase in property crime, an influx of transient camps, and vacant buildings. Our City cannot become vibrant until we dig in and tackle the trials that are current city officers neglected to do.
My background as a professional businesswoman, coupled with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University, will bring to the table experience working for both a profit and nonprofit organizations. I have worked in technology, mental health, and social services industries that have given me the experience to be successful as the next City Council for District 4. In this role, I will be able to dive into the City budget and have comprehensive discussions with City staff regarding essential initiatives.
