Sandra grew up in a single-parent home with her mother, two sisters, and brother. She was born in East Texas and moved to the Bay Area as a toddler. She grew up in a home with a mother that worked two jobs to support her and her siblings. Sandra is no stranger when it comes to hard work. She got her first job at the age of 16 years old. She continued to work tirelessly throughout her career, understanding that to accomplish anything in life, you must be driven and continue to persevere. Sandra attended public schools in Oakland and Hayward, CA. As a child, she participated in the girl scout; vacation bible school, and regularly attended the local youth centers in her community. She has lived in Antioch since 2009 and has been an active community participant.
Sandra earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University East Bay and a Master of Associate degree in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. Sandra currently is Vice President of Human Resources for the Center for Social Dynamics, an organization that provides Autism services for children.
